Brewing and cupping tea is critical to the proper evaluation of tea. The G.S. Haly Co. also offers tools and materials to help you better select and decide the best teas for your program. Whether you buy from us or not, having the proper knowledge and support to judge tea is critical to differentiating between teas that say specialty and those that truly are.

Tea Tasting Set – Unit: 4 sets per case
These authentic porcelain sets that are imported from Sri Lanka and include steeping mug with matching lid and infused liquor cup. Set is encased in black gift box.

Tea Sampling Trays – Unit: 20 trays per set
The G.S. Haly Co. specially designed for sampling and visually evaluating tea. Trays are made of special coated white card stock paper. When folded into tray the size is 5”x9”.

The G.S. Haly Co. designed and patented infuser instantly turns most stainless steel lined thermal pump pots into loose leaf tea pots. Now you can easily brew quality loose leaf tea and serve large quantities of loose leaf tea in any food service setting. Fits most commercial carafes/pump pots; 1.5” x 9.5” with 2.5” funnel head.

While there are many wonderful books now available on tea, this is a very authoritative, easy to use as well as read reference guide by Elin McCoy & John Walker that is a must-have for any tea or coffee person. Available in paperback only.

Hubei Tea Bricks Large – Item: HB01 – Standard Min: 20Bricks [Kosher]
Origin: Hubei, China. Tea Bricks are produced by the same method used by the Chinese Ancients, to facilitate the transportation of their valued commodity by camel trains into Mongolia and Tibet. The Chinese are credited with being the earliest bankers – using notes and coins long before Western culture came into being. However, far-inland tribes had little use for paper money and used "Tea Money" for both bartering and consumption. It is said to be the earliest form of currency. Improved over the years with various designs impressed front and back, they are probably of more interest as an item of decoration and conversation than for brewing. Each brick is approximately 9.5”x7.25"x1" and weighs 2.5 pounds.

Origin: Hubei, China. Each ornamental brick is approximately 7.5”x4.5”x1" and weighs 1.2 pounds.
