This year's selection has a lovely muscatel perfume and a lingering sweetness on the palate. Puttabong is the northern-most garden in Darjeeling, lying just across the road from Sikkim. Planted in 1852, this was the very first tea estate in the Darjeeling district and has a long established reputation for the highest quality. Full gold cup, bright on the palate, herbaceous, floral and winey.
